Most of the treatments we have received are physical therapy, meaning we work on keeping my children's spine, body, and muscles as flexible as possible.
The biggest problems we face are respiratory infections. Both my children have been hospitalized for Pnemonia, RSV, and other chest infections.
I hope your daughter is doing as well as can be expected. How old is she? Is she your only child?

My 12-year-old daughter was just diagnosed with RSCMD. She has had muscle weakness and low appetite her entire life. This past summer she had spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis. She has had a peg tube for six months.
What do you know about the cause of low appetite in RSCMD, aside from chewing and swallowing issues?
